An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo de Azevedo in the 11th minute of play forced Teameme FC's goalkeeper Innokentiy Zimin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Adolfo Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Yan Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Guerra went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Teameme FC were furious when João Adolfo Fontes was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Teameme FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! After having played for 45 minutes, Inácio Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teameme FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lewis Whatley in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Carneiro saved Mariluz FC from getting behind. If Inácio Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Anísio Tepedino made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mariluz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Whatley came free, but Yan Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teameme FC's Innokentiy Zimin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Tepedino in the 61st minute of play. Yan Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Whatley in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Mariluz FC booed when Teameme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Anísio Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute of the match Ruy Rezende sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Innokentiy Zimin skillfully saved the ball. Ricardinho Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Innokentiy Zimin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Mariluz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Innokentiy Zimin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes Mariluz FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo de Azevedo. Inácio Lagos short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Yan Carneiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Yan Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Teameme FC's Inácio Lago fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Innokentiy Zimin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
