Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomé Silva started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Bahia's Gabriel Urbano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 9 played minutes Real Alvinegro FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Alagoano. With a little luck, Real Alvinegro FC's Reginaldo Amaral got control of the ball when Zé Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nico Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. João Adolfo Gaspar might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reginaldo Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Adolfo Gaspar ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Real Alvinegro FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Armandinho Marques hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Sampaio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Esporte Clube Bahia's Natanael Esteves. Natanael Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Simão Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Alvinegro FC's protests and gave Simão Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. Esporte Clube Bahia's João Adolfo Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomé Silva's late challenge caught a Esporte Clube Bahia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Silva helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Real Alvinegro FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Silva. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Gaspar in the 44th minute of play forced Real Alvinegro FC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reginaldo Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Real Alvinegro FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Prestes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Tomé Silva fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Natanael Esteves having to interfere. If Zé Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Real Alvinegro FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Sampaio. In the 65th minute, Francisco Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Real Alvinegro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Prestes came free, but Reginaldo Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Urbano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Simão Domingues was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Simão Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Reynaldo Sampaio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natanael Esteves. Natanael Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Real Alvinegro FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Reynaldo Sampaio hit a great ball. Reginaldo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Maciel in the 94th minute of play. Although Esporte Clube Bahia had been in control for most of the match, Real Alvinegro FC still came away with the win.
