The supporters of Turmalina booed when Esporte Clube Bahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Edvaldo Ceresso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Zé Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
