Vinícius Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Alvinegro FC's Vinícius Loyola got a free kick in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Bueno in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reginaldo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte dos Santos in the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte dos Santos in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Amaral saved Real Alvinegro FC from getting behind. In the 13th match minute, Real Alvinegro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Reginaldo Amaral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Robert Banciu. Cristian Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cristian Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Brusque FC's Duarte dos Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reginaldo Amaral. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Cristian Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Brusque FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Alagoano came free, but Cristian Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Fabiano Contaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brusque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Contaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reginaldo Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Marques in the 40th minute of play forced Brusque FC's goalkeeper Cristian Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Bueno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reginaldo Amaral. That made the score 2-2 in the 45 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Bueno was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Brusque FC booed when Real Alvinegro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Domingues made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brusque FC's Fabiano Contaldi. Cristian Moreira made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Armandinho Marques sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Cristian Moreira managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Real Alvinegro FC's Reynaldo Sampaio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reginaldo Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Real Alvinegro FC got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Marques. The throw-in from Simão Domingues in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brusque FC's Fabiano Contaldi. In the 74th minute, Ricardo Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Reginaldo Amaral. Real Alvinegro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 78 minutes into the game, Brusque FC's Robert Banciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginaldo Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Armandinho Marques hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Robert Banciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Amaral having to interfere. Brusque FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
