An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Maurício Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luís Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernandão de Lima in the 12th minute. Luís Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Berger in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tijucal FC's Maurício Miranda got a free kick in the 14th minute. Luiz Fernando Ceresso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahadır Serbülend read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Doctor X's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Maurício Miranda scored to the left of an out of position Luís Trigo, making the score, 2-0. Fernando Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Trigo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Oséas Berger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Trigo. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. After 24 played minutes Doctor X got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo de Moraes. A hard shot by Carlos Fernando Pires from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Luís Trigo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luís Trigo was a little too slow when Fernandão de Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 32nd minute Fernando Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandão de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Luís Trigo made a huge save. With a little luck, Doctor X's Luís Trigo got control of the ball when Oséas Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cássio Chaves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Maurício Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cláudio Borges hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Fernando Cardoso scored 6-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Cardoso in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Doctor X defense, Oséas Berger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Trigo. The Doctor X fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Trigo should have stopped the shot. Luís Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. But to his dismay, Oséas Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Tijucal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
