Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reynaldo Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Barthez came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Alvinegro FC's Reynaldo Sampaio. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fabian Barthez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lúcio Novaes. Reynaldo Sampaio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 17th playminute. If Reynaldo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Barthez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Sampaio in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute of the match, Reynaldo Sampaio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Barthez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. João Francisco Koehler took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reginaldo Amaral. Reginaldo Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Armandinho Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armandinho Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabian Barthez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Sampaio went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. João Francisco Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Reginaldo Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomé Silva to make the kick off. Rodeiro's Fabian Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Silva in the 57th minute of play. Real Alvinegro FC's Tomé Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. João Francisco Koehler's late challenge caught a Real Alvinegro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rodeiro's João Francisco Koehler got a free kick in the 70th minute. The Real Alvinegro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 88 minutes into the match, Real Alvinegro FC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Francisco Koehler.
