Christian Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, one of Fedegoso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fedegoso:s Christian Alagoano showed great skill when he stopped João Pedro Souto:s penalty. 17 minutes into the match, João Pedro Souto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Alagoano. Fedegoso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Christian Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When João Adolfo Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Esporte Clube Bahia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Adolfo Gaspar couldn't finish the play. Zé Prestes's late challenge caught a Fedegoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. Fedegoso made a substitution. Murilo Santana replaced Valério Lago. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Bahia's Zé Prestes got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fedegoso's Christian Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Gaspar in the 28th minute of play. João Adolfo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Christian Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube Bahia. 36 minutes into the match, Fedegoso's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Prestes came free, but Christian Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedegoso's Silvério Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovanni Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Esteves having to interfere. If Silvério Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Brasil in the 56th minute of play forced Esporte Clube Bahia's goalkeeper Natanael Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Silvério Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Christian Alagoano made a huge save. After 69 minutes, Mário de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fedegoso and the Esporte Clube Bahia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Alagoano came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Bahia's Zé Prestes. But to his dismay, Zé Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 87th match minute, Esporte Clube Bahia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Natanael Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Brasil in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Bahia's Kléberson Mandrak got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, Fedegoso's Cauan Moreno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Esteves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fedegoso reached it. Natanael Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Esporte Clube Bahia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
