Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Elói Ribeiro made the kick off and thus started the match. Kléber Peres made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Vitório Linhares sent off a good shot on target. When Gil Motta fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestina's protests and gave Gil Motta a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Palestina got a freekick which was hit by Gil Motta. Kléber Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ciro Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Remo Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUIABÁ EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Remo Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes CUIABÁ EC got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro de Queiroz. If Vitório Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Linhares in the 80th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
