Hernani Batista was slow to take the kick. During this time Morro Grande FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hernani Batista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Ferreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fausto Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute, Dráusio Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bodoco's Fausto Terra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristóvão Félix. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. Orlando Valladares in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristóvão Félix, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristóvão Félix made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Almir Couto sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gláuber Abraão during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Morro Grande FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Betão Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gabriel Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Bodoco fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Bodoco's Orlando Valladares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Orlando Valladares came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristóvão Félix could save by the left post. If Dráusio Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráusio Azevedo made a kick off. Dráusio Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gabriel Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gláuber Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro Grande FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gláuber Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristóvão Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Sena in the 56th minute of the match. Dráusio Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ferreira having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Adalmo do Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bodoco and the Morro Grande FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fausto Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande FC's Betão Varela got a free kick in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Betão Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ferreira. Bodoco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cristóvão Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fausto Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Bodoco got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Terra. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Valladares during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Bodoco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Valladares to maneuver through the defense.
