A collision led to Bodoco getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Fausto Terra hit a great ball. Orlando Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Valladares in the 13th minute of play forced CUIABÁ EC's goalkeeper Kléber Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CUIABÁ EC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vito Marques hit a great ball. Kléber Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Terra in the 14th minute of the match. Adalmo do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalmo do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Bodoco's zone, Remo Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ferreira came out of the goal and Remo Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Remo Mota notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bodoco's Gabriel Ferreira. Gabriel Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 30 minutes, Fausto Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodoco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Fausto Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kléber Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Valladares scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kléber Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bodoco's Orlando Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléber Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Terra in the 53rd minute of the match. Digo do Nascimento hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Remo Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gabriel Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Orlando Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ronaldão Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bodoco's protests and gave Ronaldão Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Luiz Paulo Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Orlando Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bodoco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CUIABÁ EC the free kick. The supporters of CUIABÁ EC booed when Bodoco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Queirós in the 95th minute of the match. CUIABÁ EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bodoco for a fine match.
