Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Breno Paes made the kick off which started today's match. Wiliam Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Arlindo Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlindo Dias came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Vista SC's Paulão Donato. But to his dismay, Paulão Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Diamantino Aparecido could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Arlindo Dias however easily saved by the left post. Armando Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Dias having to interfere. Evaristo Botelho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Arlindo Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Arlindo Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulão Donato. Armando Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Aparecido in the 34th minute of play forced Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Arlindo Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Donato took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Dias. Arlindo Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Palestra Itália's zone, Armando Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Dias came out of the goal and Armando Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiliam Pena was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Paulão Donato notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Palestra Itália's Arlindo Dias. Arlindo Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arlindo Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Pena in the 57th minute of the match. Palestra Itália's Arlindo Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Pena in the 63rd minute of play. Evaristo Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Cléberson Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Gabriel Trevisan having to make a save.
