Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Transvaal's Cícero Abraão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Gwidon Dankowski made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Transvaal's Renan de Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gwidon Dankowski came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Espinhal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Dankowski couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Transvaal's Ernesto Teles got a free kick in the 7th minute. Renan de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Belmiro Pontes sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th match minute, Espinhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Pontes to maneuver through the defense. If Simão Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Espinhal's Gwidon Dankowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Transvaal's zone, Gwidon Dankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan de Medeiros came out of the goal and Gwidon Dankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Espinhal getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Murilo Marques hit a great ball. If Simão Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Transvaal's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Dankowski came free, but Renan de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwidon Dankowski to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Transvaal's zone, Gwidon Dankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan de Medeiros came out of the goal and Gwidon Dankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renan de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Dankowski in the 55th minute of play. Transvaal's Renan de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Pontes in the 56th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Ernesto Teles put in a rough tackle. Renan de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Azevedo in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Simão Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Transvaal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espinhal the free kick. Simão Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Transvaal's Renan de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Pontes in the 78th minute of play. Renan de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Dankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, Transvaal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Abraão to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Espinhal's Murillo Godoi tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ronaldinho Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan de Medeiros having to interfere. If Gwidon Dankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwidon Dankowski went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
