Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wiliam Pena started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, S.E.Bangu's Fausto Vander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Gabriel Trevisan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 15 minutes of play, S.E.Bangu's Chiquinho de Queiroz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Gabriel Trevisan was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Chiquinho de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Donato got free with Soulis Papadopoulos in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 21 minutes, Fausto Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.Bangu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Fausto Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tiago Gabriel Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chiquinho de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Trevisan having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Diamantino Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vista SC and the S.E.Bangu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Diamantino Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes S.E.Bangu got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Sampaio. Soulis Papadopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulão Donato in the 31st minute. Clemente Cerezo's late challenge caught a Vista SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho de Queiroz in the 37th minute of the match. Fausto Vander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Gabriel Trevisan having to make a save.

The wind increased when Fausto Vander made the kick off in the second half. Armando Leal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Paulão da Silveira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Paulão Donato struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Soulis Papadopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vista SC. The supporters of Vista SC booed when S.E.Bangu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vista SC's Wiliam Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vista SC's Armando Leal got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Armando Leal off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Chiquinho de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Vista SC's Tiago Gabriel Trevisan got control of the ball when Fausto Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Fausto Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.Bangu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Chiquinho de Queiroz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiago Gabriel Trevisan. The goal made the score 0-5. Tiago Gabriel Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Chiquinho de Queiroz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. S.E.Bangu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Vista SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. S.E.Bangu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
