If Karl-Michael Lindell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Benjamim Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyber Soccer Curitiba's Noel Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehis Rajamäe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Geovanni Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Nunes struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ismael Otsoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cyber Soccer Curitiba. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Geovanni Nunes sped through Goianinho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Otsoa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovanni Nunes during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
