After a rather tough play, Deliciosa's Zé Urbano got a free kick in the 8th minute. Wilson Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ulisses Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauan Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deliciosa's zone, Wilson Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses Teixeira came out of the goal and Wilson Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Fernandez in the 21st minute of play. With 23 minutes on the clock, Agostinho Gomes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Jacobina FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jacobina FC. Severino Fernandez took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Berger. Lucas Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 34 minutes, Zé Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deliciosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Deliciosa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jacobina FC:s goal. The supporters of Deliciosa booed when Jacobina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobina FC's Lucas Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Fernandez in the 45th minute of play. Tiago Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulisses Teixeira having to make a save. The Jacobina FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deliciosa were winning 1-2.

Jacobina FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
