The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caio Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Dias went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Jacobina FC's Lucas Berger got control of the ball when Chicão Passos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caio Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Dias in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Correia in the 16th minute of play forced Jacobina FC's goalkeeper Lucas Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Palmitinhos FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Oscar Antunes hit a great ball. Caio Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Dias in the 23rd minute of the match. Caio Cunha came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacobina FC's Tiago Dias. But to his dismay, Tiago Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Laerte Pinheiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Wilson Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Caio Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Bezerra succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Oscar Antunes's late challenge caught a Jacobina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Palmitinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Antunes to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Palmitinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Dias came free, but Caio Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ronaldinho Massa fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmitinhos FC's protests and gave Ronaldinho Massa a yellow card for diving instead. Ronaldinho Massa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Chicão Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Berger having to interfere.

The wind increased when Wilson Bezerra made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Dias in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Augusto Brito during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Zé Augusto Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Palmitinhos FC's Ronaldinho Massa got a free kick in the 60th minute. Palmitinhos FC's Caio Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Palmitinhos FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Palmitinhos FC's Caio Cunha got control of the ball when Wilson Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Chicão Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chicão Passos in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Berger saved Jacobina FC from getting behind. Raimundo Tinoco lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When Rafa Freire fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacobina FC's protests and gave Rafa Freire a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palmitinhos FC booed when Jacobina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilson Bezerra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caio Cunha. That made the score 2-5 in the 78 minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Jacobina FC's Tiago Dias made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th match minute, Palmitinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Correia to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Caio Cunha made a huge save. The supporters of Jacobina FC booed when Palmitinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Wilson Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Caio Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Palmitinhos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jacobina FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jacobina FC.
