Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 50) Deliciosa's Arnaldo Leão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Ulisses Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 5 played minutes Deliciosa got a freekick which was hit by Zé Urbano. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Adriano Mineiro put in a rough tackle. Betinho Marinho had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Kléber Trancoso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With his leg Ulisses Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Chiapetta's Bruninho Santana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jailson Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulisses Teixeira. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Bruninho Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ulisses Teixeira made a huge save. Zé Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Betinho Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Figueres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Teixeira having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Deliciosa got a freekick which was hit by Elói Pinho. Kléber Trancoso hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Bruninho Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruninho Santana made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Chiapetta's goalkeeper Betinho Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Fernandez. Ulisses Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Santana in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Bruninho Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Deliciosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Santana in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Bruninho Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 played minutes Deliciosa got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Leão. Betinho Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Leão in the 75th minute of the match. Ulisses Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruninho Santana's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Ulisses Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maria Mole, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Deliciosa getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zé Urbano hit a great ball. Ulisses Teixeira came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chiapetta's Bruninho Santana. But to his dismay, Bruninho Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maria Mole during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chiapetta getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Maria Mole hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Deliciosa defense, Roberto Figueres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Teixeira. The Deliciosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Teixeira should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Bruninho Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulisses Teixeira was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Chiapetta's Betinho Marinho got control of the ball when Severino Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chiapetta had played much better football throughout.
