Fred Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Niquito's Fred Arruda got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Giovanni Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Niquito's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Pontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Jardel Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Adrianinho Maciel managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Sport Club Niquito's Fred Arruda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Sport Club Niquito booed when Parma Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes, Parma Brasil's Carlinhos Ceresso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Maia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Alfredo Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. But to his dismay, Décio Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Décio Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Décio Sergipano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Parma Brasil booed when Sport Club Niquito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Vinhas took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Maia. Alfredo Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 68th match minute, Sport Club Niquito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Arruda to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Alfredo Maia managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Parma Brasil's Edmílson Vinhas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Edmílson Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Parma Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Vinhas couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Edmílson Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alfredo Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Niquito's Sérgio Santana got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Décio Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Sergipano in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Maia saved Sport Club Niquito from getting behind. 90 minutes into the game, Moisés Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parma Brasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Niquito the free kick. In the 90th minute, one of Parma Brasil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parma Brasil. The referee gave Sport Club Niquito a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Glauco Paiva, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Parma Brasil's Adrianinho Maciel. 1-4. Duda Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Maciel having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Parma Brasil walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
