The referee gave Bandolim a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luan Amorim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arisvel AD's Victor Recife. 0-1. Diego de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th match minute, Bandolim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Prata to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Davi Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Recife having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Recife showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victor Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zé Augusto Simão made the kick off in the second half. Arisvel AD's Zé Augusto Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Arisvel AD's Zé Augusto Simão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zé Augusto Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Tande was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Amorim in the 79th minute of play forced Bandolim's goalkeeper Michel Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jailson Sergipano during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bandolim getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jailson Sergipano hit a great ball. If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
