In the 26th minute there was a penalty for MILLENNYUM RACING. Lauro Trancoso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mário de Medeiros. 1-2. Horácio Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laerte Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Perdidos FC's Horácio Vinhas made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Horácio Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MILLENNYUM RACING's Laerte Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Meirelles in the 81st minute of play. Laerte Amorim came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Perdidos FC fully deserved thier win.
