Guilherme Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival de Sena in the 80th minute of the match. Cléberson dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléberson dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Dantas in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy de Andrade in the 90th minute of play forced Indepediente's goalkeeper Guilherme Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival de Sena took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Fernandes. Guilherme Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 95th minute Ruy de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
