Virtus Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Sidney Matos scored to the left of an out of position Xie Ting Sheng, making the score, 1-0. Alexsandro Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Trujillo having to interfere. Gustavo Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Virtus Futebol Clube's Panait Lupșoiu got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Alexsandro Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Raulzito FC's Carlinhos Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xie Ting Sheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 35 played minutes Virtus Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Panait Lupșoiu. In the 39th match minute, Raulzito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Matos to maneuver through the defense. Alexsandro Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubens Trujillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlinhos Porto to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Alexsandro Siqueira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rubens Trujillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Tróia in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Siqueira in the 56th minute of play forced Raulzito FC's goalkeeper Rubens Trujillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Xie Ting Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Carlinhos Porto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xie Ting Sheng. Virtus Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlinhos Porto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 67th match minute, Virtus Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Raulzito FC's Rubens Trujillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Siqueira in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Raulzito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Alexsandro Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rubens Trujillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubens Trujillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Siqueira in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Virtus Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dinei Tróia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Porto in the 89th minute of play forced Virtus Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Xie Ting Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Virtus Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Panait Lupșoiu. Virtus Futebol Clube's Dinei Tróia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlinhos Monteiro in the 92 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Carlinhos Monteiro in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Virtus Futebol Clube's Dinei Tróia. Dinei Tróia struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rubens Trujillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virtus Futebol Clube. In the 96th minute Alexsandro Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Trujillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Raulzito FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
