Evaristo Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe de Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 52 played minutes Bertolinia got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson de Almeida. Bertolinia's Giuseppe de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Bertolinia from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Catarinense came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giuseppe de Queiroz could save by the left post. Décio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Toscano in the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giuseppe de Queiroz. That made the score 1-3 in the 74 minute of play. Giuseppe de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Catarinense in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Caravelas's Evaristo Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giuseppe de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Bertolinia got a freekick which was hit by Gil Toscano. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Célio Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caravelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Giuseppe de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caravelas. Evaristo Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emanuel Leite came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Caravelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Leite couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Toscano scored 2-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Décio Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Caravelas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bertolinia.
