When Walmir Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the E.C CFM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Furlan couldn't finish the play. Walmir Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas de Alcântara hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Fabinho de Sousa came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Caravelas's Evaristo Catarinense. But to his dismay, Evaristo Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 79 minutes into the match, Caravelas's goalkeeper Décio Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmir Furlan. Evaristo Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho de Sousa having to interfere. Décio Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nico Paiva in the 86th minute. Nico Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Décio Massa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 87 played minutes E.C CFM got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Carioca. Evaristo Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho de Sousa having to interfere. If Evaristo Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dário Oliveira hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
