Spectators: 7415 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 25) After 3 minutes of play, SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Birger Leite made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Archie Mathews was left in no man's land by his defense there! Archie Mathews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th match minute, SHINERAY FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Archie Mathews came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Birger Leite. But to his dismay, Birger Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When 赵洲延 came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SHINERAY FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 赵洲延 couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Birger Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Mathews saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Oséas Zonta made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. SHINERAY FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Luciano Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Archie Mathews narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliézer Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Safadão having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, SHINERAY FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Brito to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chimarrao's Percy Figueiredo got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Chimarrao defense, Birger Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Archie Mathews. The Chimarrao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Archie Mathews should have stopped the shot. Oséas Zonta took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Archie Mathews. Archie Mathews dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Leandro Brito scored 0-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Archie Mathews, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Zonta in the 42nd minute of play forced Chimarrao's goalkeeper Archie Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Chimarrao's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Leite came free, but Archie Mathews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomás Xavier was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Chimarrao getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gilmar Galvão hit a great ball. The supporters of Chimarrao booed when SHINERAY FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Chimarrao's goalkeeper Archie Mathews had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Leite. Douglas Safadão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Betinho de Toledo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Leandro Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Archie Mathews made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Leite in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Luciano Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Archie Mathews made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. Archie Mathews didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséas Zonta went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Dé Andrade was substituted for Oséas Zonta. After 83 played minutes Chimarrao got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Arce. Archie Mathews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Archie Mathews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Archie Mathews stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Salles's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
