In the 19th minute, César Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, MASTERPENIS's Valério Vander got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 28 played minutes MASTERPENIS got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto do Valle. A hard shot by Juarês Pirani from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Thomás Nogueira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of MASTERPENIS booed when Academia VSKG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Vander in the 35th minute of play forced Academia VSKG's goalkeeper Diguinho Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia VSKG's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a left leg Thomás Nogueira saved MASTERPENIS from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Juarês Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia VSKG's Armandinho Barral was substituted for Décio Mattos. In the 66th minute of the match Anderson Martins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diguinho Tinoco skillfully saved the ball. 68 minutes into the match, César Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Nogueira. MASTERPENIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Academia VSKG's César Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MASTERPENIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juarês Pirani ran over to the corner to take the kick. Diguinho Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Murilo de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Porto during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Academia VSKG defense, Valério Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diguinho Tinoco. The Academia VSKG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diguinho Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Academia VSKG walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
