The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Roberto Luz fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joanesia's protests and gave Roberto Luz a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Joanesia got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Luz. In the 6th minute, Dário Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joanesia's goalkeeper Joel dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel dos Santos having to interfere. The supporters of IRON MAIDEN666 booed when Joanesia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The IRON MAIDEN666 fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when IRON MAIDEN666's Marco Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Osvaldinho Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Marco Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the IRON MAIDEN666 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Sousa couldn't finish the play. Naldo Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Marco Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldinho Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Paraíba in the 27th minute of play. Diego Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joel dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, IRON MAIDEN666 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldinho Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorginho Mazza went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Joel dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel de Almeida in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Daniel de Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel dos Santos, 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Sousa made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, IRON MAIDEN666's Marco Sousa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joel dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Goiano in the 63rd minute of play forced Joanesia's goalkeeper Joel dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Goiano scored 4-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Daniel de Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Joel dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Marco Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Joanesia's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel de Almeida came free, but Joel dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Paraíba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Osvaldinho Quirino made a huge save. A collision led to IRON MAIDEN666 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Maurinho do Nascimento hit a great ball. Daniel de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
