Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 140) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfredinho da Fonseca made the kick off which started today's match. POA Gladiators's Benjamin Quintal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ruy de Amaral but with some difficulty. The Jumentos SC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Jumentos SC's Alfredinho da Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Betão Secco sped through POA Gladiators's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Pombal. When Jumentos SC's Alfredinho da Fonseca in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POA Gladiators's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Augusto Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The supporters of POA Gladiators booed when Jumentos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovanni Carioca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfredinho da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Carlos Augusto Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jumentos SC. Jumentos SC's Betão Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Jumentos SC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Castro. After 31 played minutes, POA Gladiators's Giovanni Carioca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruy de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in POA Gladiators reached it. After 34 played minutes POA Gladiators got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Carioca. 35 minutes into the game, Betão Secco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carlos Augusto Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of POA Gladiators booed when Jumentos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovanni Carioca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruy de Amaral. Jumentos SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Alfredinho da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POA Gladiators's Carlos Augusto Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho da Fonseca in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The POA Gladiators players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jumentos SC were winning 0-3.

In the 51st match minute, Jumentos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. After 52 minutes of play, POA Gladiators's Fermín Mala made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jumentos SC's Betão Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in POA Gladiators's zone, Alfredinho da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Pombal came out of the goal and Alfredinho da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Alfredinho da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POA Gladiators's Carlos Augusto Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betão Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Augusto Pombal came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Jumentos SC's Betão Secco. But to his dismay, Betão Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredinho da Fonseca in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Pombal saved POA Gladiators from getting behind. When Giovanni Carioca was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. After 88 played minutes POA Gladiators got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Carioca. If Betão Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Fermín Mala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betão Secco's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Alfredinho da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Carlos Augusto Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jumentos SC. When the final whistle sounded Jumentos SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than POA Gladiators.
