Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrézinho Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. Sandrinho Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodolfo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Sandrinho Arantes sent off a good shot on target. Rodolfo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Paraense in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Maranhense saved Prodigy Team from getting behind. Metal FC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Prodigy Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilberto Teixeira took the corner. Metal FC's Gilberto Teixeira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Maranhense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 10 played minutes Metal FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Berger. In the 12th match minute, Metal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Arantes to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Prodigy Team's goalkeeper Rodolfo Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandrinho Arantes. A collision led to Prodigy Team getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mário Pereira hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrézinho Gonçalves in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Prado saved Metal FC from getting behind. Metal FC's Zé Carlos Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto in the 28th minute of play. Zé Carlos Prado came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Prodigy Team's Andrézinho Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Andrézinho Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zé Augusto kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Metal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Berger to maneuver through the defense.

Zé Carlos Prado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Augusto in the 55th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Zé Augusto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prodigy Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Augusto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gildo Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rodolfo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Gonçalves was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Prodigy Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodolfo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Britto in the 67th minute of the match. Rodolfo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Andrézinho Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandrinho Arantes scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nildo de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Metal FC's Sandrinho Arantes made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Prodigy Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
