Hernani Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gildo Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Giuseppe Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernani Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Gildo Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hernani Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Dráuzio Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernani Matos came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Metal FC's Gildo Paraense. But to his dismay, Gildo Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Metal FC's Gilberto Teixeira got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sandrinho Arantes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Giuseppe Britto succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Giuseppe Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Matos came out of the goal and Giuseppe Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gildo Paraense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernani Matos was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Giuseppe Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Matos came out of the goal and Giuseppe Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 minutes, Giuseppe Britto made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. AC Milan's Hernani Matos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gildo Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Hernani Matos came out of the goal and Giuseppe Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildo Paraense got free with Hernani Matos in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Giuseppe Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th of the match, Gildo Paraense tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hernani Matos got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Gildo Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Metal FC booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Gildo Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th match minute, Metal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Arantes to maneuver through the defense.
