Spectators: 7266 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Basílio Azevedo kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Poty City FC booed when Ce Juventus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Pirani made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Basílio Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Gildo Eger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Pirani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Gildo Eger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonas Pirani. The goal made the score 2-0. Edinho Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Paes in the 17th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Adriano Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poty City FC's Edinho Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 minutes, Paulo Paes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ce Juventus and the Poty City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michel Fontes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Gildo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ce Juventus's zone, Basílio Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Pirani came out of the goal and Basílio Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basílio Azevedo in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonas Pirani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Poty City FC's zone, Iuri Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Castro came out of the goal and Iuri Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ce Juventus's Jonas Pirani got control of the ball when Basílio Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magno Guimarães to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Basílio Azevedo made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ce Juventus's Jonas Pirani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Michel Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio Azevedo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Ce Juventus getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Iuri Prado hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Magno Guimarães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Edinho Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonas Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Hermínio do Valle hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ce Juventus's Magno Guimarães slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edinho Castro. That made the score 5-3 after 73 minutes of play. A collision led to Poty City FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eugênio Moura hit a great ball. Charles Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonas Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes in the game, Basílio Azevedo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Iuri Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ce Juventus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poty City FC the free kick. Poty City FC's Edinho Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Paes in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Basílio Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Pirani was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Poty City FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
