A collision led to Sem Jeito So Derrota getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ramiro Aparecido hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Pedrinho Ibrahimović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Lima hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes of play Universal FC's Pedrinho Ibrahimović was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pedrinho Ibrahimović kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Marco de Barros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Vítor de Godoi. Universal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Rubens Paulista successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 31 played minutes Sem Jeito So Derrota got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Lima. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sem Jeito So Derrota fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! In the 38th minute Sixto Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sem Jeito So Derrota booed when Universal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Sem Jeito So Derrota's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Goren came free, but Rubens Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Santana to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Igor Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sem Jeito So Derrota's zone, Sixto Goren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Paulista came out of the goal and Sixto Goren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laércio Domingues hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Fausto de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Paulista having to interfere. Sixto Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Paulista having to interfere. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Universal FC had played much better football throughout.
