Universal FC's João Vítor de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Terra in the 26th minute of play. Pedrinho Ibrahimović hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, 100 Noção FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Matorin to maneuver through the defense. The tension between the 100 Noção FC and the Universal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to 100 Noção FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tião Prata hit a great ball. Anselmo Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Sanches made a kick off. Thiago Terra took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Vítor de Godoi. João Vítor de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Pedrinho Ibrahimović struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Duda Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universal FC. The supporters of Universal FC booed when 100 Noção FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Greger Ahlerot put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Duda Catarinense. In the 64th minute, Igor Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Greger Ahlerot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sixto Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sixto Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Duda Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Universal FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 100 Noção FC.
