After 10 played minutes Languiru SC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Netto. In the 11thth minute of the game Nestor Maia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Languiru SC's Giovanni Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Leão da Serra FC's Hernani Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giovanni Monteiro. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 15th minute Valdo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Monteiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernani Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Valdo Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovanni Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Rocha in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Leão da Serra FC booed when Languiru SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Serafim Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Nestor Maia notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Languiru SC's Giovanni Monteiro. Giovanni Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giovanni Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Maia in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Rocha in the 99th minute of play forced Languiru SC's goalkeeper Giovanni Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leão da Serra FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
