Carlos Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juvenal Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Batista was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celsinho Pimenta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Celsinho Pimenta could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Carlos Augusto Batista however easily saved by the left post. Carlos Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Durvalino Alvarenga took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Dante. Carlos Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 29th match minute, Real Parque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MENGÃOF.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cássio Alcântara hit a great ball. Luiz Fábio Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Dante having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, MENGÃOF.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as MENGÃOF.C.'s Celsinho Pimenta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Augusto Batista. That made the score 2-2 after 45 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Luiz Fábio Vinhas made the kick off in the second half. Celsinho Pimenta hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Celsinho Pimenta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MENGÃOF.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 64th minute, Celsinho Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Batista. Real Parque FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 74th minute Celsinho Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fábio Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Juvenal Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Parque FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MENGÃOF.C. had won, even though Real Parque FC had held more of the ball.
