Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horácio de Lara started the match with the kick off. In the 11th match minute, Lendários Boleiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Brodel in the 12th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Lendários Boleiros got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Saraiva. In the 21st minute, Jorge Brodel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casalvasco EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 23 played minutes Casalvasco EC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Munhoz. After 30 minutes of play, Casalvasco EC's Luiz Gustavo Motta made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Mesquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Ferraz went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Luiz Gustavo Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lendários Boleiros's Vladimir Martins got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lendários Boleiros's zone, Jorge Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Mesquita came out of the goal and Jorge Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Casalvasco EC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Gustavo Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Alessandro Mesquita made a huge save. Jorge Brodel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Alessandro Mesquita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alessandro Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Motta in the 58th minute of play. Pedro Augusto Saraiva's late challenge caught a Casalvasco EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lendários Boleiros's Pedro Augusto Saraiva got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Casalvasco EC defense, Vladimir Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo Bittencourt. The Casalvasco EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo Bittencourt should have stopped the shot. During the 69th minute of the match Pedro Augusto Saraiva completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Augusto Saraiva a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jorge Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Gustavo Motta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alessandro Mesquita came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Gustavo Motta slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 77th minute. Alessandro Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jorge Brodel sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Casalvasco EC's Luiz Gustavo Motta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Martins in the 95th minute of play forced Casalvasco EC's goalkeeper Gildo Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lendários Boleiros supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Casalvasco EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Casalvasco EC.
