After a defensive mix-up in Skylab United's zone, Matías de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Mota came out of the goal and Matías de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Vidal hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Felippe Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felippe Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Isaltino Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chiquinho Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Chateaubriand fans jumped to their feet. Skylab United's Kauan Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Skylab United from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Skylab United's Kaká Amorim got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Isaltino Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Vale in the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Felippe Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match, Matías de Castro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kauan Mota was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Isaltino Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquinho Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kauan Mota having to make a save. When the match was over Chateaubriand could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skylab United throughout the match.
