Casalvasco EC's Gildo Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Mazza in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Gabriel Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildo Bittencourt. Casalvasco EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luiz Gustavo Motta hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Claudinei Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 24 minutes of play, Casalvasco EC's Luiz Gustavo Motta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinei Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Motta in the 29th minute of play. Claudinei Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gabriel Mazza scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gildo Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Gustavo Motta scored 2-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute of the match, Luiz Gustavo Motta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudinei Melo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gildo Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
