An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Machado in the 16th minute of play forced Chateaubriand's goalkeeper Isaltino Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand's goalkeeper Isaltino Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tião Paes. Elivélton Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renatinho Vander during the 23rd minute. Isaltino Rossi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cícero Martins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Adilson Lara came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chateaubriand's Erik Sanches. But to his dismay, Erik Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Renatinho Vander hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Matías de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cícero Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Erik Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tião Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chateaubriand's zone, Tião Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Rossi came out of the goal and Tião Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Christian Machado made the kick off in the second half. If Tião Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Erik Sanches put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adilson Lara. Christian Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elivélton Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 73 minutes into the match, Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Marinho came free, but Adilson Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's Benjamin Mazza got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Adilson Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Marinho in the 78th minute of play. Chiquinho Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adilson Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's Adilson Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cachoeiro - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Chateaubriand booed when Cachoeiro - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball.
