In the 19th minute, one of Skylab United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skylab United. Tião Paes took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauan Mota. Kauan Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's Adilson Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Cachoeiro - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 34th play minute Kaká Amorim came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adilson Lara. 1-2. Adilson Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The Skylab United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cachoeiro - FSCMZ were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabinho Vale was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Felippe Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skylab United and the Cachoeiro - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
