An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Britto in the 14th minute of play forced Zoado - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Geovanni Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Zoado - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Meirelles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Sena in the 17th minute of play forced Zoado - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Geovanni Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jardel de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético de Itu were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Zoado - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vânderson Rocha took the corner. After taking down the ball on Atlético de Itu's corner Vânderson Rocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geovanni Alcântara quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Zoado - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes of play, Atlético de Itu's Carlos Augusto Sena made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 minutes, Perivaldo Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoado - FSCMZ and the Atlético de Itu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zoado - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Perivaldo Meirelles hit a great ball. Zoado - FSCMZ's Geovanni Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Sena in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Zoado - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when César Paiva came free, but Geovanni Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoado - FSCMZ's Geovanni Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Sena in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. César Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Geovanni Alcântara stood somewhat misplaced when Orlando Bittencourt came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 55 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Bittencourt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovanni Alcântara. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. Carlos Augusto Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Corrêa having to interfere. Geovanni Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Britto in the 72nd minute of play. If Carlos Augusto Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Jacinto Sanches sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Augusto Sena got free with Geovanni Alcântara in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flávio de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Geovanni Alcântara was a little too slow when Raphael Britto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-5. Jardel de Brito hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Geovanni Alcântara was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Augusto Vinhas. Geovanni Alcântara didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. When the match was over Atlético de Itu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zoado - FSCMZ throughout the match.
