The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Felippe Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Skylab United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Baptista couldn't finish the play. Casalvasco EC's Gildo Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Casalvasco EC from getting a goal against them. Kauan Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Luiz Gustavo Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Mota having to interfere. Daniel Capixaba hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Fabinho Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildo Bittencourt. Casalvasco EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabinho Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
