After having played for 42 minutes, Rodrigo Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chateaubriand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chateaubriand:s Isaltino Rossi showed great skill when he stopped Christiano Cardozo:s penalty. 48 minutes into the game, Lendários Boleiros's Christiano Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaltino Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Chiquinho Marinho made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Chateaubriand's Elivélton Meireles got a free kick in the 57th minute. Isaltino Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio de Lara in the 59th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Carvalho during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute Vladimir Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chateaubriand getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Erik Sanches hit a great ball. Vladimir Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 played minutes Lendários Boleiros got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Saraiva. Rodrigo Vidal shot a long shot in the 70th minute and a light blocked Alessandro Mesquita hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 4-2. Vladimir Martins struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Isaltino Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lendários Boleiros. Matías de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Alessandro Mesquita made a huge save. Lendários Boleiros's Alessandro Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Marinho in the 84th minute of play. Isaltino Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Martins in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Vladimir Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaltino Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Vladimir Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Horácio de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaltino Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio de Lara in the 94th minute of play.
