Indios SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Cosme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jardel Cosme in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Tinoco saved Indios SS from getting behind. Jardel Cosme scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Tinoco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Jardel Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's Jardel Cosme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Jardel Cosme made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Rufa City FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Figueiredo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro de Barros got free with Roberto Tinoco in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Sanches in the 75th minute of the match. Jardel Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Viana during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabiano Viana hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
