The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juninho Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedé Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Juninho Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Faisca FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Passos. Válter Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Xavier in the 15th minute of the match. When Torre's Davi Xavier in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Faisca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dedé Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Salvidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Torre's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válter Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leonardo Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Torre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Moreira couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Faisca FC got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Gaspar. Faisca FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Davi Xavier scored to the left of an out of position Válter Moreira, making the score, 1-0. In the 40th minute Davi Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Faisca FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Vaz. In the 44th match minute, Faisca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Passos to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The attack was good, but when Davi Xavier in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Faisca FC's Antonio Salvidor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dedé Ceresso. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. Gildo Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Faisca FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Antonio Salvidor hit a great ball. Sílvio Luiz de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Válter Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válter Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Xavier in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Wellington Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Ceresso having to interfere. After 97 played minutes Faisca FC got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Gaspar.
