The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. André Luiz Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 6th match minute, Peri EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Galvão to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Uber Land got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Baptista. Fred Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nestor Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Trigo. Uber Land's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When João Augusto Romero fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peri EC's protests and gave João Augusto Romero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Peri EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. João Augusto Romero hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Uber Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Brito to maneuver through the defense. If Nelsinho Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Angelo Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uber Land's protests and gave Angelo Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. Edinho Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Tinoco in the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Gildo da Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nestor Faria to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nestor Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo da Rocha in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Peri EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo da Rocha came free, but Nestor Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Uber Land's Edinho Trigo got control of the ball when Ricardo Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelsinho Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Trigo having to interfere. Edinho Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Peri EC's attentive Hannes Berggren managed to snatch the ball when Toninho Bueno made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. André Luiz Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Zé Pedro Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Pedro Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 minutes, Samuel Bertassi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uber Land and the Peri EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 95 minutes, André Luiz Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peri EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Peri EC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peri EC may have spent more time on the ball, but Uber Land were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
