Délio Zonta struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Válter Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachoeiras. 8 minutes into the game, Faisca FC's Juninho Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilian Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Juninho Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute, Antonio Salvidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes Faisca FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Vaz. After 16 played minutes, Cachoeiras's Jeferson Sergipano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Válter Moreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachoeiras reached it. Wilian Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Gaspar went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Dorian Britto made a precise shot to the right of Válter Moreira. Faisca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 32nd minute Dorian Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Germano Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válter Moreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Antonio Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Juninho Gaspar notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Cachoeiras's Wilian Furlan. Wilian Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Faisca FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adalberto Moraes hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachoeiras's goalkeeper Wilian Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Cachoeiras getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Vinícius Berger hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juninho Gaspar during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Juninho Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Faisca FC booed when Cachoeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cachoeiras's Wilian Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Gaspar in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Juninho Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Cachoeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Gaspar came free, but Wilian Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Faisca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Zonta came free, but Válter Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius Berger scored 4-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válter Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Dorian Britto could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Válter Moreira however easily saved by the left post. Cachoeiras's Wilian Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Salvidor in the 80th minute of play. Wilian Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Juninho Gaspar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Wilian Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Almir Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildo Vaz charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo Vaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the match, Juninho Gaspar notched a goal, 6-4, to the right of Cachoeiras's Wilian Furlan. Wilian Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Faisca FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cachoeiras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
