Válter Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fryderyk Walkowski made a huge save. Agnaldo Gonçalves came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fryderyk Walkowski could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Lino Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. FOX Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Agnaldo Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fryderyk Walkowski made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CA Haine Capibaribe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
