Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lisieh's Gláuber Vaz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes A. A. INTERNACIONAL got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Custódio. Lisieh's Sílvio Luiz Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Marques in the 11th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, one of Lisieh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Lisieh's zone, Frederico Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luiz Santana came out of the goal and Frederico Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Arce was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lisieh! The referee gave A. A. INTERNACIONAL a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sydney Queirós, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lisieh's Sílvio Luiz Santana. 0-3. After having played for 26 minutes, Frederico Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. A. INTERNACIONAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Severo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th match minute, Lisieh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Sydney Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sílvio Luiz Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Couto's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Severo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Frederico Couto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Frederico Coutos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Sílvio Luiz Santana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Cássio Severo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With his leg Sílvio Luiz Santana managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Frederico Couto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Josué Marques got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Vieira in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Favoretto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Frederico Couto took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Sílvio Luiz Santana to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Frederico Couto sped through Lisieh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Luiz Santana. 89 minutes into the game, Frederico Couto lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Sílvio Luiz Santana. Cássio Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sílvio Luiz Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A. A. INTERNACIONAL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
