Jägermeister FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUIRICEMA the free kick. Cássio Roberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Márcio Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais having to interfere. When José Carlos Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the GUIRICEMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Teixeira couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Ramalho got free with Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, GUIRICEMA's Márcio Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Angelo de Carvalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cássio Roberto, 0-3. In the 56th minute of the match GUIRICEMA got a corner. Jägermeister FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joélson Seco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joélson Seco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jägermeister FC's Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais did a great save. Nelson Vides took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Roberto. Cássio Roberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nelson Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jägermeister FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Roberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo de Carvalho in the 67th minute of play forced GUIRICEMA's goalkeeper Cássio Roberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Jägermeister FC's Nelson Vides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cássio Roberto. Cássio Roberto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Ruan Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes GUIRICEMA got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Vergílio. 87 minutes into the match, GUIRICEMA's goalkeeper Cássio Roberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Vides. Márcio Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, GUIRICEMA's goalkeeper Cássio Roberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Vides. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo de Carvalho in the 92nd minute of play forced GUIRICEMA's goalkeeper Cássio Roberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jägermeister FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
